Based in Dallas, Texas, Nova creates high-quality laundry products, aiming to make a mundane task more interesting. Most laundry products are sold in minimalistic, simple packages, yet Nova’s packaging considers the shape and texture of the product to create space-themed products. In this series of dryer ball packaging, the dryer temperature that each ball was designed for is connected to planet temperature. To mirror the depth of research and the focus on space, the typography is arranged in grid-like patterns and accompanied by photography to draw attention to the scientific qualities of the brand. Neptune, Mars, and the Moon are differentiated by their bold color, chosen to reflect the cycle temperature to facilitate a consumer’s understanding of each variation.
