Cove is a learning app designed for elementary-aged, bilingual children. Created for learning in 6 different languages, kids can practice vocabulary, spelling, or math alongside playful sea creatures. In designing this app, I consulted a teacher and gained her insight into the ways that bilingual children struggle in her class each day. From there, I chose the lesson content and formulated the app to be a friendly interface to welcome in young learners. Regardless of a child's story or background, Cove is here to serve their needs and meet them right where they're at.
Getting Started!
Build your child’s custom profile by adding personal information to enhance their learning. Simply sign in upon returning to the app and choose which subject your child desires to practice.
Learn & Play!
After selecting which subject to practice, your child will have the opportunity to show off their skills alongside one of three friendly sea creatures: Mr. Tentacles, Mrs. Starfish, or Mr. Sunshine.
Tracking Progress!
As your child completes their lessons, a progress board will be actively updated. At any point, you can choose to view results or send them to others who may need access.
